More Publicity...hee hee

Today, Star Metro talked about our little garden ceremony that took place last Friday - 'An Event to Remember'. For once in my life, I'm both a blushing bride and a celebrity.... (not too certain about the former though.... he he he). This garden wedding also made an appearance in Harian Metro as well as on TV2 news (with TW's "Saya rasa amat bangga" li'l speech) last Monday. Too bad we didn't catch it on air.

Yes, it was fun to have all this attention. But what's important to me is that we have our family members with us on this very special day, along with a very good friend. It's their presence that made our day unforgettable. I know the heat and mosquito bites are nothing close to fun but thanks for being there. A big kiss to all of you *Mmmuuuuuaaahh*

20-07-2007 Love in Full Bloom

Yes!!! I'm officially Mrs. Wong :) Yesterday in Sheraton Subang, we exchanged wedding vows with 6 other couples at a poolside garden wedding. Organized by Eternal.com.my, all 7 couples were dressed up by Vogue Collection and Lord's Tailor, with makeup by Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, hairdo by Cynthia Lim and F&B by Sheraton Subang.

Both our immediate family members were there to witness this event, along with my girlfriend HT, whom I can't thank enough for just being there. But of course, instead of "just" being there, she was my photographer, my helper, and also a director for choreographing many of the shots (yet to see the results though! ;) ). Apart from HT, my youngest sister SS and my brother Mike was also busy snapping away. Unfortunately I left the videocam on the whole night and the battery depleted the very next morning. So I didn't manage to capture a video as planned. :( Hopefully I can get a copy of the video from the official videographer, Davelab.

The couples arrived at 6am for makeup and hairdo. Imagine the amount of concealer and corrector that the make up artists have to use to cover the bride's dark eye circles ...hehehe... The whole day was extremely tiring, as we did not expect to see so many ppl from the media. Unlike my pre-wedding photo shoot where I get to rest in between shots, it was ALL smiles yesterday until I had a facial cramp. After a while, I had the most fake smile plastered on my face. It's NOT easy to be a celebrity! :P

Seven lovey dovey couples

We also had interviews from Star newspaper and Bernama. Somebody should have told us to be prepared for the press. I think we looked like complete idiots in front of cameras! :P Anyway, here's one of the article that appeared in Star today: '20.07.2007 wedding vows for 7 couples'.

Thanks to all my friends who sent us their warm wishes; my mobile was beeping non-stop, with reminders that I'm no longer a Miss!!! ;) Big huggieesss....

Now I'll have to concentrate on my Wedding Reception dinner in Oct!

Excitement Creeps In

Less than a week to our ROM ceremony in Sheraton Subang, I start to feel a little nervous. What if I trip while walking down that aisle? What if we walk too fast?

Of course, I have another concern: My beloved dad.... he he he... Why?? He will be my witness on that day, but we are not the first couple who will be signing the papers. And my dad, he is not someone who can sit still (yes, I got that from him), NOT even for a single minute. Since we are the 5th out of 7 couples, it may take probably about 40-50 minutes before it will be our turn. Chances are my dad will be roaming around the hotel premises until it is due.

Mom expressed my fears to my dad but he just laughed it off...... :S He only said, why worry? If he happens to be missing when our turn comes, just call him on the phone! :O

My Dashing Groom

Was at Lord's Tailor earlier this evening with TW for his suit fitting. Except for the waistband which was a little tight cause he had a little too much for dinner (he refused to admit that his spare tire just got a little bigger), everything else fitted nicely. I must admit that he looked really good....he he he... but I kept that remark to myself.... ssyyhhhhhhhhhhhhh :D
