The Day I was Joey Yung

The generous rainfall continuously for the past 2 weeks got me quite worried. On Tuesday, we were supposed to be outdoor in the bright sunshine, flying a kite and posing for our pre-wedding photo shoot. But we woke up this morning to cloudy skies and a light drizzle :( Mr. Sun wanted to play hide and seek with us.

We decided to proceed anyway, with hopes that it will change for the better later in the afternoon. We arrived the studio before 10am and after approx. one hour of make-up session, I was ready. Everyone at the studio commented that I looked like Joey Yung!!! *blush* While we did our studio shoot, it rained. But as soon as we were done, Mr. Sun said, "Peekaboooo!". Whaddayaknow.....he's finally out to play!

Off we went to FRIM after lunch, and we had great fun there! I'll keep everyone in suspense for the moment, and won't reveal too much of what props we used for our outdoor session. But I have to admit something though, I must be the MOST tomboyish bride ever! I couldn't sit still, hopping around in a wet muddy field and in an attempt to splash water at TW, I fell into the stream and got myself completely wet (managed to keep my hairdo intact, though). Both photographers and TW got really concerned BUT as soon as they were sure that I was alright, they went clicking away :/. I cannot bring myself to imagine how the photos would turn out :O

We didn't stay long at FRIM as Mr. Sun went hiding again and then came... drip... drop... drip... drop. I changed into some dry clothing before heading back to the studio for another change of gown. Our final location was KLCC. Good thing for us the rain stopped when we reached downtown. We finally got everything we need by 8pm, went for our dinner and then it was my turn to take a photo of our two photographers, Jay & Loong! :)

When TW got home, he found a little bonus hiding in his pair of folded jeans - a dead fish measuring not more than an inch. Somehow the poor unfortunate soul swam and got stuck in his jeans during the photo shoot at the stream. Oh, and did I mention that we did free advertising for: Nike, Fila, Adidas, Mopiko, Nissan and Louis Erard? We really ought to collect some fees from them to cover our costs! :P

We will be selecting the photos for our album on the 6th of May 2007. More updates then! :D
